Apa yang lebih mengecewakan saya malam tadi bukan kekalahan kita atas padang tetapi tindakan segelintir penyokong Malaysia terhadap penyokong Vietnam.
Walaupun saya masih menunggu laporan rasmi dari pihak polis dan FAM, berdasarkan maklumat yang saya terima dan apa yang saya sendiri nampak, para penyokong Vietnam diserang oleh segelintir fans Malaysia di Stadium Shah Alam semasa perlawanan separuh akhir Piala Suzuki AFF.
Tiada alasan bagi tindakan ganas tersebut. Lebih-lebih lagi terhadap tetamu dalam negara kita. Apakah ini cara kita layan tetamu? Tak kiralah mereka datang melancong ke memang dah kerja sini ke, ini bukan budaya Malaysia.
Mereka yang tidak bertanggungjawab ini tak terfikir pula apa boleh jadi pada penyokong kita yang akan pergi ke Hanoi, Vietnam untuk perlawanan kedua. Bukankah tindakan mereka ini boleh dianggap sebagai satu provokasi dan mengundang risiko keselamatan terhadap penyokong-penyokong Malaysia di Hanoi nanti?
Oleh kerana penyokong-penyokong ganas ini tidak akan mohon maaf dan tiada sebarang respons daripada FAM (mungkin esok ada), saya mohon maaf kepada penyokong-penyokong Vietnam yang diserang di Stadium Shah Alam pada malam tadi. Saya akan minta kerjasama polis untuk siasat kes ini dengan segera dan bertindak atas siasatan tersebut. Tindakan ganas segelintir fans Malaysia ini tidak mewakili rakyat Malaysia yang sebenar. These violent fans do not represent Malaysia. My sincere apologies on behalf of Malaysia for the actions of these small number of irresponsible thugs.

What is more disappointing me last night not defeat us on the pitch but a handful of supporters Malaysia action against supporters of Vietnam .
Although I am still waiting for an official report from the police and FAM , based on the information I received and what I myself saw , supporters Vietnam attacked by a handful of fans at Stadium Shah Alam Malaysia during the semi-final of the AFF Suzuki Cup .
There is no excuse for violent action . Moreover the guests in our country. Is this the way we treat people ? Regardless of their travel to come here to work dah indeed , this is not the culture of Malaysia .
They are not responsible , nor have I wondered what could be on our supporters who will go to Hanoi , Vietnam for the second game . Did not their actions can be considered as a provocation and poses a risk to the safety of Malaysian supporters in Hanoi later?
Due to this violent supporters will not be sorry and no response from the FAM ( maybe tomorrow there ) , I apologize to supporters who attacked Vietnam in Shah Alam Stadium on Saturday night. I would ask the cooperation of the police to investigate this case and act promptly on investigations. Malaysia handful of violent action fans do not represent actual Malaysians . These violent fans do not represent Malaysia . My sincere apologies on behalf of Malaysia for the actions of these small number of irresponsible thugs .
